Only 1,000 yards from the Scribner Hollow Lodge, with a base elevation of 1600 ft. and a summit elevation of 3200 ft., you won’t want to miss the fun on Hunter Mountain’s slopes this ski season. Take a ride on one of the 11 lifts or enjoy one of the 55 trails available. Hunter Mountain is open from 9:00a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on weekdays and 8:30a.m. until 4:00p.m. on weekends and holidays. Purchase daily lift tickets from $10 (for toddlers) to $65 (for adults on a weekend).
They offer a variety of great deals for lift tickets including a big lift card, season passes, and the 3X Card. The Big Lift Card gets you discounts all season for the low price of $45. You get 25% off weekends and holidays and 45% off of weekdays. Season passes give you unlimited access to skiing and great discounts at the ski shop and places to eat too! The 3X Card will get you 3 days of skiing for only $109!

Windham Mountain is another wonderful winter wonderland located closely to the Scribner Hollow Lodge. Windham Mountain has 265 skiable acres and 46 ski slopes ready for you to ski down! Daily tickets range from $10 (for children 6 and under) to $68 (for adults on the weekends). The Gravity Card allows you to pay as you go for lift tickets at a discount. Windham Mountain Lodging
With ski season quickly approaching, now’s the time to book your stay at the Scribner Hollow Lodge while visiting Windham Mountain. Located in the beautiful Catskill Mountains, Windham Mountain offers gorgeous scenery and 46 phenomenal ski slopes. Regular hours are 8-4pm. on weekends and 9-4pm. on weekdays. However, from Dec. 17th through February 26th the hours are extended until 9pm. on Fridays, Saturdays, and around holidays.
Windham Mountain offers a variety of different types of lessons for everyone, no matter what the ski level. A one day package for Beginners and Beyond runs between $51-$79 and includes everything one needs to have a successful day of skiing. Private individual or group lessons are also available at a reasonable price. The PowerLearn Ski Clinic is also available for skiers. Featured in the New York Times, this is a clinic you won’t want to miss! It will teach you how to ski no matter what the terrain, using these four principles: equipment, technique, psychology, and customized learning. Some Perks of this program include: season passes, a custom boot footing, video capture of your skiing and review, and 2 days worth of instruction.
Windham Mountain offers many unique and exciting events. Friday nights in January and February is Budweiser’s Friday Night Lights Weekly Race Series. With weekly prizes for winners and an overall title awarded at the end, it’s sure to be Friday Night Fun! At the Windham Adventure Park there is great fun to be had with your family! Speed down a 650 foot snow covered slope in a snow tube. You and your children will enjoy the wild ride shrieking with delight! You can also head down to the ice skating rink. For only $10 for each session, you can enjoy one of the best places to skate in the entire region! There is also a great Children’s Learning Center decorated with festive themes throughout the year.
