Guitar riffs and fresh air will be filling up Hunter Mountain this August 26th through 28th for Bluestock 2011. Scribner Hollow Lodge is excited to be your Hotel for this three day bluestravaganza.

Acts will be tearing up two stages for this event at Bluestock 2011. See the likes of Buddy Guy, Robert Cray Band, Shemkia Copeland and much much more. The excitement all starts on Friday at 5 PM with the Lionel Young Band and the party doesn’t stop until Sunday at 8 with Buddy guy to top things off. Bands will be continuously playing between the two stages from open to close so you won’t want to miss any of it. In addition to the bands and music, there will be all kinds of other events to hit up as well.

This venue offers many different diversions for festival goers. An outdoor gaming area will be available with pool, arcade, horseshoes and bocce. A brand new Frisbee golf course will also be opening up that weekend for the young and young at heart to enjoy. For the younger blues cats the cozy kids’ corner will offer kinds of fun and relaxation for the kids with full view of both stages so parent’s won’t miss one beat. Also not to be missed are some visual artists’ work on display, fire dancing troupe and not-for-profit booths to fulfill your soul. With so much going on, a good night's sleep at the Scribner Hollow Lodge will restore you to prime Bluestock moods.

Polish up the pipes and iron your kilt this year’s Hunter Mountain International Celtic Festival is coming August 20 and 21 and Scribner Hollow Lodge is your place to stay during all the excitement.

August 20th and 21st the fun is happening with food, vendors and music. The smells and tastes of traditional Celtic foods are bound to waft through the air as you stroll through the vendor booths. Listen to the sounds of great Celtic music on three stages. Performances will include the likes of Shilelagh Law, Beautiful Day (U2 tribute band) and the Donny Golden Dancers. This family friendly festival even has a special kids’ tent.

A real special event to be seen is the Bagpipe competition followed by the Mass March which showcases hundreds of bagpipers and drummers marching down the mountain to play on the main stage together in a beautiful tribute to Celtic pride.

Celtic Festival at Hunter Mountain August 20 & 21, 2011

Join us for a fun-filled weekend.  Scribner Hollow Lodge is within walking distance to all of the festivals this summer at Hunter Mountain.  Don’t miss out on one of Hunter’s most popular events, The Celtic Festival, which is featuring fantastic entertainment from the Emerald Isles, plus world-class Irish-American bands and dancers. This event features dozens of authentic Irish vendors, traditional foods, and plenty of beverages.
Sunday features a Bagpipe Competition, followed by the spectacular Mass March as hundreds of pipers and drummers march down the mountain in unison. After the Mass March, the entire procession will play as one at the base of the mountain - it's a spine-tingling sight that is not to be missed!

This Festival always brings smiles to the faces of German-Americans and everyone else who attends. The good-time music is sure to get you up on your feet... or at the very least tapping your feet. Traditional German-American foods, Schuhplattler Dancers, plenty of vendors, plus fun activities for the kids.

Warrior Dash August 13th and 14th 2011 at Windham Mountain.
Warrior Dash is a mud-crawling, fire-leaping, extreme run from hell.  This fierce running series is held on the most challenging and rugged terrain across the globe.  Warriors conquer extreme obstacles, push their limits and celebrate with kick-ass music, beer and warrior helmets.  An intense event for the participants and an absolute blast for the spectators.
