Hotel Near Hudson Valley Garlic Festival




The Scribner Hollow Lodge is the perfect place to stay when you are attending the 2010 Hudson Valley Garlic Festival. Festivities begin on September 25th from 10 a.m. until 6p.m. and continue September 26th from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Situated in the Catskill Mountains on the Hudson River, this festival is hosted at Cantine Field in Saugerties New York. Started by Pat Reppert, the Hudson Valley Garlic Festival has been delighting its visitors since 1989.

There are many wonderful things to do at the festival. Go to the Garlic Marketplace with its enormous amounts of gourmet garlic. Check out the arts crafts aisles which will also have garlic inspired pieces! Arts and crafts booths will be selling everything from aprons, jewelry, hats, note cards, pottery, quilts, to tables and MORE!

Children will enjoy the Children’s Craft Tent where they can decorate plump pumpkins, get their faces painted, or climb a rock wall. In addition, there will be tons of great entertainment including Sundad, The Barefoot Boys, and Mark Rust. It will be an educational weekend too, with lecturers and chefs giving their insights into great garlic dishes.

Tickets for the Hudson Garlic Festival are only $10 and children 12 and under are FREE!
